The Tippie does Maths-series focus on the building blocks for mathematical literacy and gives young children the opportunity to discover and apply new skills within a familiar and relevant theme.
Each of the Tippie does maths-series has a teacher’s guide where the 10 books in each series are thoroughly discussed and explained in great detail. The teacher’s guide will equip teachers and parents with comprehensive and practical explanations and advice on how to explain mathematical concepts to learners in a simple, practical, and fun way.
Almost every page of each of the 10 maths books per grade is extensively explained using the following sections:
* Equipment needed to explain the maths concepts
* Core concept skills
* Introduction of the concept
* Teaching tips
* Lesson outcomes
* Consolidation
The teacher’s guide has been divided into 4 terms for easy reference and to assist teachers with planning. There are extra worksheet examples for each term with a QR code that leads to A4-sized worksheets. Rubrics, recording sheets and assessment tools are also available via QR codes.
